Patterned Bluestone:Patterned bluestone is covered by a number of different types, uses, colors, and thickness.It can be wet laid or dry laid depending on whether it's 1, 1.5, or 2 inches thick. It comes tumbled and non-tumbled. It can be full color (blue, grey, green, and brown all in one piece), true blue (only blue on the face side), or lilac. The pattern can be as simple as 1'x1' placed one next to another or as complex as a mixed pattern with sizes from 1'x1' to 2'x 3' and every 6" incriment in between. The possibilities are endless. Treads, Steps, & Caps:Treads, steps, and caps are an elegant way to start and/or finish off a new set of stairs or cap a natural stone retaining wall or walkway. They can also be used to rim the edge of new patios. Treads, steps, and pier caps (for pillars) are available in both bluestone and limeston. Ryser's keeps an extensive selection of sizes of treads in stock, but due to the detailed nature of treads, special orders can be made and are generally available within one to two weeks.
