Triple Shredded Hardwood: This mulch is a dark brown mulch produced from the interior of the tree. It is shredded three times to provide a finer appearance and usually only needs to be replaced every other year. It can be refreshed with a light layer and raking in between.

		Black Dyed: Black Dyed mulch is also a tripple shredded hardwood, but it is also dyed with black food coloring that is safe for dogs, animals, and children and will not fade any more quickly than standard mulch. It is allowed to cure for over four weeks prior to shipping.

		Cedar: Cedar mulch is high quality, finely shredded material brought down from Vermont. It is a light golden brown color and has a fragrant Cedar smell, much like the Cedar closet.

		Hardwood Bark: Hardwood Bark mulch is also a dark brown mulch, but it is even more finely shredded than Triple, as it is from the bark of the tree. It has a very slight Mahogany hue in comparison to the Triple, though it could never be described as red. It tends to last the longest and composts down nicely.

		Playground Mulch: This mulch is ground specifically for playgrounds on residential and commercial levels. It's hue varies between light golden tan to a golden brown and is ground to be softer to the touch. 		Bagged Mulch: Ryser's also carries bagged mulch in Hardwood, Cedar, and Pine Bark Nugget styles. Bags can be the easiest and most economical way to install mulch in small or difficult to access areas. Also, if an area just needs to be touched up, bags are very convenient.
